Solar Cooking

We live in the Valley of the SUN. Its HOT here, average 100, so I use my Sun Oven to cook meals. These are the photos of a Solar Cooking Class I taught.It was in the Butlers back yard with a gorgeous swimming pool. We made a delicious Corn Casserole, Rolls, cookies, and a Zucchini Casserole. We wore sunglasses to keep the sun oven reflectors from damaging our eyes. Twenty people showed up to learn how to cook in a sun oven. It was a great success.I showed how to make Sun oven using a five gallon pail and your car sun shade. This could be used for hiking, because it was so light weight to carry,to cook your meals.
